ACCOUNT
Accounts & subscriptions
Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I protect my account details?
No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. Keep both safe, use a password you don’t use on other sites, and log out of the control panel before leaving a shared device. Treat your subscription link like account credentials: don’t post it in public chats, forums, or screenshots. If you can’t log in, check your keyboard input, capitalization, and whether your browser autofilled the wrong account, then try again from the panel’s login page. Never share your password or full subscription link for someone else to check. If you need help, provide only error details with sensitive information obscured.
How do I get or update my subscription link? Do I need to re-import it after switching routes?
Log in to the user panel and get your subscription from the account overview, then import it by following your client’s instructions. Existing subscriptions can usually be updated from the client’s subscription management or configuration page. Find the VPNMini entry, run an update, and check whether the route list has changed. Switching the active route usually doesn’t require importing the entire subscription again. If the panel provides a new subscription link, use the one currently shown there and replace the old address saved in your client. If an update fails, keep the existing configuration and check your network and account status. Avoid repeatedly deleting configurations and losing a working way to connect.
Do I need a new plan when I change devices? Can I connect on multiple devices at once?
VPNMini has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so changing devices alone doesn’t mean you need a different plan. Log in to the panel on your new device, get the appropriate client, and import your subscription. You can choose routes separately on each device. Unlimited devices refers to the device limit; it doesn’t mean each device gets a separate data allowance, so keep an eye on your plan’s remaining data. For shared household devices, we recommend that the account holder manage the subscription link rather than sharing it publicly. Before you stop using a device or hand it to someone else, remove saved subscription and account details and log out of the panel.
Where can I get the client? How does iOS differ from other platforms?
This service supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Client downloads are available from the user panel’s download page; log in to access your subscription. Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients are available after login, while iOS downloads also require an active plan. Choose the download for your device’s operating system, install it, then import your subscription using the setup guide. Don’t use a marketing page address as a subscription link. If the download page says your account doesn’t meet the requirements, return to the overview and check your plan status. If you see a prompt during installation or import, keep its exact wording to help distinguish a system permissions issue from a subscription configuration issue.
CONNECTION
Connections & troubleshooting
The client says connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?
Pause the proxy and make sure your current network can open familiar websites. Then reconnect and test another route. A connected status only indicates that the connection state changed; it doesn’t guarantee access to a particular website. Next, check that the selected configuration belongs to VPNMini, that the system proxy or relevant connection mode is enabled, and that your plan status and remaining data are in order. If another proxy or network filtering tool is running, pause it temporarily to rule out conflicts. Change one setting at a time and note the result. If the issue persists, open a support ticket with your system, client, route name, and the exact error message.
Why can I browse websites, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
Browsers and apps may use different network paths. Some apps don’t use the system proxy, while routing rules may send some traffic directly. So, a website opening in your browser doesn’t mean every app is using the same route. Check the client’s routing mode and connection logs to see whether the target app or domain matches the expected rule. If the client offers a relevant setting, use the setup guide to check which traffic it covers. After changing a setting, fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t reuse an existing connection. Don’t overwrite the entire configuration without checking; save your current settings first so you can compare the results and restore them if needed.
What should I do if a subscription update fails or the route list is empty?
Log in to the panel in your browser, check your account and plan status, and make sure you copied the subscription link rather than the page address. When copying, avoid extra spaces, line breaks, or punctuation added by a chat app. Then update the matching subscription in your client. If the old configuration still connects, keep it until the update succeeds before deciding whether to remove it. An empty list may also mean the import format or client configuration option is wrong; check the download page and setup guide for the right method. When opening a support ticket, say which step failed, include the client’s error message, and name your operating system. Always obscure the full link and account credentials in screenshots.
How do I reconnect after my device sleeps or I switch networks?
After your device sleeps or switches from Wi-Fi to another network, the old connection may no longer work even though the app still shows its previous status. Wait until the current network is working, disconnect and reconnect in the client, then reopen the app you’re trying to use. If the issue only happens after sleep, check the system’s background and power-saving settings for the client, and allow the network permissions it needs when prompted. If it happens every time you switch networks, note the network conditions before and after and check whether other routes behave the same way. Don’t change your subscription, routing rules, and system settings all at once. Restore a basic connection first, then troubleshoot one setting at a time to identify the cause.
ROUTES
Speed & routes
My connection slows down during peak hours. Should I switch regions or route types?
First check whether your local network is also slow—for example, because another device is downloading or on a video call. Once you’ve ruled out local congestion, try different route types in the same region and compare how IEPL, relay, and direct routes perform on your network. If none work well, try another region. This can help you tell whether a particular path is congested or the region as a whole is a poor fit for your network. Don’t judge by a single connection test or treat a route name as a guaranteed speed. Test with the same app where possible, observe loading, playback, and connection stability, and note the time and route name for your support ticket.
How should I choose between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?
These names describe how a connection is routed, not a speed ranking that applies to every network. IEPL, relay, and direct routes can differ in path, availability, and performance, so choose based on your network and the service you want to access. For everyday use, start with a route in a suitable region, then compare how reliably each type connects and stays connected. If a route works well, keep it as a preferred option and have another route as a backup. Don’t judge a route by its name or geographic distance alone. Your local network, time of day, and the target service all affect performance; testing the actual connection is more useful than relying on the label.
Which regions are available? How do I choose a route for ChatGPT and streaming?
VPNMini covers 100+ countries and offers 210+ routes. The options currently available to you are shown in your client’s subscription list. Before using services such as ChatGPT or Netflix, check the platform’s region, account, and eligibility requirements, then choose an exit region accordingly. A successful connection doesn’t guarantee eligibility to use a platform; its library, sign-in status, and access rules are determined by the platform. If a route doesn’t work, try another route in a suitable region and reopen the app. Avoid frequently switching regions for an account you’re actively using. See the global servers page for coverage details; whether a specific service works is best confirmed in the app itself.
Websites load, but video or AI tools are still slow. Is it a route issue?
Different apps have different network requirements. A webpage loading successfully only confirms that particular request; it doesn’t tell you whether video will stream continuously or an AI tool’s long-lived connection will work. First check whether the issue affects just one service, then review the app’s sign-in status, target region, and the client’s routing logs. For video, see whether buffering keeps happening. For AI tools, compare a new session with the existing one to rule out an app-specific issue. Then keep the target service the same and test another route. If several services are affected, check your local network and client settings. If only one service is affected, include the specific feature and error message in your support ticket.
BILLING
Billing & refunds
How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and which should I choose?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. If you use the service regularly, choose a monthly plan based on your typical usage. If you use it occasionally, a data package may better fit your routine. Compare the billing model first, then the data allowance; monthly reset rules don’t apply to data packages. Check the plans page for full pricing and terms, and the panel for your current plan status.
When does monthly plan data reset? What happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?
Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, not necessarily at the start of the calendar month. To check your current cycle, log in to the panel and review your plan status and data details rather than estimating your remaining allowance from the calendar. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Before proceeding, review the order and adjustment details shown in the panel. Don’t assume the difference means a fixed amount of bonus data or apply rules from a different billing option. If the updated details don’t match your expectations, keep the order record and open a support ticket with your original plan, target plan, and the steps you took so support can check your account records.
Which payment methods are supported? What if my plan status doesn’t change after payment?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. After choosing a plan, pay using the current payment details and instructions shown for your order in the user panel. Don’t use old payment details forwarded by someone else. If your status hasn’t changed after payment, return to the order list, refresh it, and check that the order belongs to the right account. Don’t pay again just because the page hasn’t updated. If further review is needed, open a support ticket with the order details and a payment receipt with sensitive information obscured. Never share your account password or subscription link. Follow the instructions on the order page, and keep the exact wording of any error to help identify whether the issue is with payment processing or the plan status display.
What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?
VPNMini offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, log in to the user panel, open a support ticket, and provide the relevant order details. If payment records need to be checked, attach a receipt with sensitive information obscured. See the refund policy and Terms of Service for full details; don’t determine eligibility based only on the data shown in your client. Check for replies in your ticket and add any follow-up information to the same ticket so the details stay together. You don’t need to keep trying to connect to request a refund, and you should never post account credentials publicly. Check the ticket for updates; this page does not promise a processing time.
